Würth Elektronik WE-MPSA & WE-MPSB Multilayer Ferrite Beads
Würth Elektronik WE-MPSA and WE-MPSB High Current Multilayer Ferrite Beads are AEC-Q200 qualified and feature clearly specified inrush peak current ratings. These multilayer SMD ferrite beads are available in case sizes ranging from 0603 to 3312. They offer different values that are trimmed individually for maximum EMI suppression. The WE-MPSA series beads are designed for automotive use, while the WE-MPSB series is specifically designed for industrial applications. Würth WE-MPSB Ferrite Beads also have low RDC, which helps preserve the efficiency of the switching converter circuit. The series is cost-effective and offers PCB space savings compared to a larger filter choke that handles currents from 5A to 10.5A.Würth Elektronik High Current Multilayer Ferrite Beads are exposed to all peak currents in a general supply network. If the current capability is inappropriate for this application, the component can be destroyed. These beads avoid the interruption of the circuit due to peak current handling capability. The series is an ideal solution for these short-term peak currents (Ip).
