Renesas Electronics Digital Power Conversion with Totem Pole IPFC
Renesas Electronics Totem Pole Intervened Power Factor Correction (IPFC) provides a high-efficiency power supply for industrial and telecom equipment. The totem pole PFC removes the typical diode bridge that rectifies the AC input, a source of energy loss. Interleaving offers additional efficiency and a low-ripple DC output. In addition, various applications can be realized by combining this with an LLC resonant DC/DC and AC/DC power supply flexibility.
