These hybrid signal-to-power connectors are designed to perform in very tough and harsh environments and provide designers the flexibility of wire-to-wire, wire-to-device and wire-to-board configurations. Scalable for use with jacketed unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and shielded twisted pair (STP) cables, the highly conformable design of these connectors also supports tab housing options for in-line and panel-mount applications, along with standard 180° and 90° header selections.
Regarding Ethernet and communication capabilities, these Heavy-Duty Sealed Connectors help meet current and future data requirements by enabling speeds from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, being fully compliant with industry-standard protocols IEEE802.3bw, 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1. TE Connectivity's Heavy-Duty Sealed Connectors with MATEnet Inserts are available in a rugged package that is IP67 and IP69K (with backshell) rated for dust and water protection, vibration and mechanical shock resistant and securely connected utilizing a built-in secondary locking feature for contact retention. The connectors are specified at an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C (cable dependent), and target industrial applications include network backbones, sensors, camera systems, sealed controllers, gateways/switches, radar/LiDAR, and in-cabin and automotive chassis.
