STMicroelectronics EVSTDRVG611MC Evaluation Board
STMicroelectronics EVSTDRVG611MC Evaluation Board allows users to evaluate the STDRIVEG611 half-bridge GaN gate driver. The three-phase inverter board is based on the STDRIVEG611 driver, a 650V e-mode GaN HEMT, and the STM32G431RBT3 microcontroller, featuring an Arm® Cortex®-M4 core operating at 170MHz.The STMicro EVSTDRVG611MC board enables sensorless field-oriented control (FOC), allowing for the driving of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) and brushless DC (BLDC) motors, which cover a wide range of applications, including refrigerator compressors, pumps, fans, and industrial appliances. The EVSTDRVG611MC is 109mm x 110mm wide, featuring a two-layer FR-4 PCB, which results in an overall 8.5°C/W Rth(J-A) (equivalent to 50°C/W for each GaN) in still air.
