Renesas Electronics Slave Actuator for HVAC Systems
Renesas Electronics Slave Actuator for HVAC Systems determines the optimum time, duration, and air flow amount and direction out of the sensor data. Slave actuator units control a fan or HVAC in one room or building by following instruction from the mast actuator. The controlled fan can be one or all of these fan controls: RPM of brushless DC (BLDC) fan motor, direction of flow, flow sensor, or electrical heater 0 to 100%. While the HVAC system may have additional sensors and outputs of its better control the HVAC, such as RPM or BLDC compressor motor and compressor pressure sensor.
Renesas Electronics Slave Actuator features BLUETOOTH® 5 Mesh communication to master actuator unit. The Bluetooth 5 Mesh communication enables communication with other sensors and the actuators. This type of communication offer secure bidirectional packet data flow, low power, additional wiring is not required, automatic routing, and scalable speed vs. range.
