Renesas Electronics RX671 High-Performance 32-bit MCUs

Renesas Electronics RX671 High-Performance 32-bit MCUs combine high performance, low power consumption, hygienic UI, and cloud connectivity in a tiny package. The RX671 has enhanced features, including a higher power efficiency of 48.8 CoreMark/mA, capacitive touch sensing, voice recognition over long distances by digital microphones, and an easy-to-mount small 48-pin HWQFN package.

With a capacitive touch sensing unit in home appliances, the RX671 MCUs cloud connectivity enables remote control from outdoors, transmits usage data to users, and allows firmware updates for correcting bugs or adding new functions.

The Trusted Secure IP protects communication data such as an individual’s private information from eavesdropping and prevents firmware tampering by integrity check. The dual bank function permits firmware updates in the background without stopping usual operations.

Additionally, the Renesas RX671 High-Performance 32-bit MCUs offer a hygienic user interface implemented with easy-to-clean flat control panels and proximity switches. The serial sound interface allows connection to digital microphones that are essential for voice recognition over long distances.
