Renesas Electronics RC32614A-EVK Evaluation Kit
Renesas Electronics RC32614A-EVK Evaluation Kit is a demonstration and development platform for the RC32614A UPN (Ultra-Low Phase Noise) System Synchronizer. The RC32614A is designed to generate ultra-low jitter precision timing signals based on the IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE). The RC32614A can be used as a single timing and synchronization source for a system, or two of them can be used as a redundant pair for improved system reliability.
The Renesas Electronics RC32614A-EVK Evaluation Kit features a pre-installed RC32614A System Synchronizer in a CABGA-144 package. The Evaluation Kit is designed to connect to a PC's USB port using the FTDI C232HM-DDHSL-0 Cable. The RC32614A-EVK can then be controlled using the Timing Commander GUI Software and ClockMatrix RC32614A Personality, available for download from the Renesas ClockMatrix™ Timing Solutions website.
