Phoenix Contact PSR-MXF Safety Relays
Phoenix Contact PSR-MXF Safety Relays offer three functions in one device, increasing cost effectiveness and reducing space. Safety functions include emergency stop, safety door or light grid monitoring and can be implemented easily with the PSR multifunction device range. Phoenix Contact PSR-MXF accepts up to three dual-channel safety sensors: two local, independent sensor circuits, as well as an overriding safety circuit useful for a simultaneous shutdown. PSR-MXF is available with screw, spring-cage or tool-free push-in connections with which to monitor different types of sensors.Features
- Three safety functions at a fraction of the price
- Three safety inputs (two independent switch-off paths, one overriding circuit)
- Four enabled current paths, two-alarm contacts
- Two confirmation current paths (independent resets)
- Easy setup of safety functions - no cross-wiring or programming required
- Four versions with different functionalities
- Wide application range reduces part numbers
- Push-in terminals save installation time
- Small size reduces required space in panels
- Available with conventional screw-connection or convenient push-in connection technology
- Multifunctional safety
- PSR multifunction safety relays have three sensor circuits which can each be wired with single or dual channels:
- A higher-level sensor circuit S0
- Two local sensor circuits S1 and S2
- The local sensor circuits S1 and S2 each provide a standard function such as a safety door or a light grid. When a fault occurs, both sensor circuits can be reactivated separately
- The higher-level sensor circuit S0 monitors both local sensor circuits. If triggered, the safety circuits protected by S1 and S2 are switched off
- PSR multifunction safety relays have three sensor circuits which can each be wired with single or dual channels:
Applications
- Food processing machinery
- Packaging machines
- Assembly and handling machinery
