Microchip Technology EV58G97A Curiosity Nano Explorer Board

Microchip Technology EV58G97A Curiosity Nano Explorer Board enables users to explore and test the functionality of microcontroller peripherals (the Curiosity Nano) or to become familiar with Microchip’s software offerings, such as MCC Melody. The EV58G97A board provides ample onboard functionality with a wide selection of input and output options. Input options include touch (and mechanical) buttons, a potentiometer, a joystick, a proximity sensor, and a microphone. Outputs include LEDs (simple yellow, standard RGB, and WS2812B RGB), an OLED display, and a speaker. An I2C Bus with seven clients, an SPI Bus with three clients, and a UART connection provide solid support for serial communications. The Microchip Technology EV58G97A Curiosity Nano Explorer Board features CryptoAuthentication™ provided by the ECC608 and power monitoring by the PAC1944, enabling measurement of various power domains. The board also offers touch (three buttons via a fixed function device) and a button to use with microcontrollers featuring a touch peripheral. If anything is missing on the explorer, functionality can be expanded via mikroBUS™, Grove, or Qwiic® sockets.
