Microchip Technology AVR® DU Microcontrollers
Microchip Technology AVR® DU Microcontrollers feature the AVR® CPU with a hardware multiplier running at clock speeds up to 24MHz. These MCUs offer 16KB/32KB/64KB Flash, 2KB/4KB/8KB SRAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM. The AVR DU MCUs come in 14-pin, 20-pin, 28-pin, and 32-pin package options. These MCUs support crystal-less USB operation and include an optional internal 3.3V voltage regulator. These MCUs operate within the wide -40°C to 85°C industrial operating temperature range. The AVR DU family of MCUs uses CIPs and USB 2.0, along with an Event System and Configurable Custom Logic (CCL), to provide efficient data transfer and noise immunity for industrial applications. These MCUs offer seamless USB updates and TTL-compatible pins for secure, uninterrupted functionality. Their USB stack supports multiple device classes and powers versatile applications like charging and system upgrades.
The AVR DU family of MCUs complies with the IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 functional safety standards, which makes them an excellent choice for safety-critical industrial and automotive applications.
