MaxLinear MxL7650x 18V Synchronous Step-Down Converters

MaxLinear MxL7650x Synchronous Step-Down (Buck) Converters support up to 18V input with 2A, 3A, or 8A output capability, using constant-on-time (COT) control for fast transient response, high efficiency, and minimal external components. These high-efficiency, fully integrated synchronous step-down (buck) DC-DC converters are available in compact SOT-23-6 and 3mm x 3mm QFN packages..The compact, high-performance devices offer robust protection features that simplify power delivery for modern, multi-rail systems. MaxLinear MxL7650x converters feature a 0.6V to 18V output voltage range and a 700KHz to 720KHz switching frequency range. These converters are stable in operation with low ESR ceramic output capacitors. Typical applications include laptops, tablet PCs, networking and Ethernet systems, personal video recorders, flat-panel TVs and monitors, and distributed power systems.
