ESS Technology SABRE® ES9290Q 32-bit Stereo 2-Channel CODEC
ESS Technology SABRE® ES9290Q 32-bit Stereo 2-Channel CODEC is a synchronous stereo Analog-to-Digital (A/D) and Digital-to-Analog (D/A) CODEC designed for professional audio interfaces. This CODEC includes stereo ADCs and DACs that deliver a DNR of +116dB and a THD+N of -108dB/-110dB Analog to Digital Converter and Digital to Analog Converter (ADC/DAC) per channel. The ES9290Q stereo CODEC offers a direct monitoring path with low latency, built-in programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs), and custom pre-programmed filters. This CODEC features up to +30dB gain 2Vrms line driver buffers and a Digital Full Biquad (DBQ) filter with multiple presets and custom filters. Typical applications include very high-quality microphones, live-stream media, professional audio interfaces, and powered (Active) speakers.The 32-bit CODEC supports synchronous I2S master/slave, TDM input and outputs, and 200kHz ultra-low noise floor bandwidth. This device provides programmable MICBIAS for analog microphone support and integrated analog PLL to reduce the need for additional clocks. The CODEC comes in a 5mm x 5mm dimensions and 40-pin QFN package.
