Astrocast Astronode S Satellite Communication Module

Astrocast Astronode S Satellite Communication Module connects IoT devices to Astrocast satellite network and enables the monitoring and control of devices with bidirectional satellite communication. This module is based on an ARM® Cortex®-M33 and a proprietary ASIC for the radio and handles bidirectional communication on L-band with Astrocast satellite constellation. The interface of Astronode S module consists of low-power UART and digital IO lines and exhibits a very low peak power consumption. This enables ultra-low power mode for up to 10 years of a lifetime from a single battery. The module features an SMT castellated pads form factor for trouble-free integration and soldering onto a PCB. Typical applications include IoT, container tracking, fishing buoys, asset monitoring, precision farming, weather data, and system health monitoring.
