ams OSRAM PSI5 Programmer Board

ams ORAM PSI5 Programmer Board is used for programming PSI5 products such as the AS5172 product family. This programmer board can program the device only via UART using the PSI5 protocol. For reading ams ORAM PSI5 data, a dedicated PSI5 transceiver is required.

Features

  • TX (Transmitter) function
    • PCB modulates the UART signal from the computer on the VDD
    • Base supply is 7V (low level), and the peak supply is around 11V (high level)
  • RX (Receiver) function
    • The sensor will answer in an "UART-over-PSI5" mode
    • Signal is transmitted to the computer using an FTDI USB-to-UART chip
