Ambiq Apollo SoC Evaluation Board
Ambiq Apollo SoC Evaluation Board is based on the Apollo SoC Family of ultra-low power, highly integrated System on Chip developed for battery-powered devices, including wearable electronics, activity monitors, and wireless sensors. The Apollo SoC Eval Board combines ultra-low power sensor conversion electronics and the powerful Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor with a Floating Point Unit (FPU). These benefits allow complex sensor processing tasks to be completed with exceptional battery life.Weeks, months, and years of battery life are possible during complex gesture recognition, context detection, and activity monitoring. The Apollo SoC utilizes Ambiq's patented Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT®) Platform, forming an industry benchmark in low-power design.
The Ambiq Apollo SoC integrates up to 512KB of flash memory and 64KB of RAM to enable radio and sensor overhead while leaving plenty of space for application code. This System-on-Chip also contains serial master and UART ports for communicating with radios and sensors, including gyroscopes, accelerometers, and magnetometers.
