Advantech WISE-2461 3-Axis Smart Vibration Sensor
Advantech WISE-2461 3-Axis Smart Vibration Sensor is a rugged industrial monitoring solution designed for predictive maintenance and machinery health applications. Equipped with a 3-axis accelerometer featuring a 5Hz to 6kHz detection range, the sensor captures critical vibration measurements, including Velocity RMS, Acceleration RMS, Acceleration Peak, Displacement, and Crest Factor. These measurements enable early detection of machine faults such as imbalance, misalignment, looseness, and bearing wear. An integrated Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor and temperature sensor further enhance condition-monitoring capabilities by enabling intelligent edge-level data processing and analysis.
The Advantech WISE-2461 communicates via RS-485 using Modbus/RTU protocols and supports up to six customizable frequency bands per axis for precise machinery diagnostics. Designed for demanding industrial environments, the sensor features a stainless-steel IP68-rated enclosure, operates from -40°C to +85°C, and complies with ISO 10816/20816 vibration monitoring standards. The robust design and advanced vibration analysis capabilities make the WISE-2461 an ideal solution for monitoring motors, pumps, compressors, fans, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment in manufacturing, utility, energy, water treatment, and process automation applications.
