EZ-PD™ CCG8 Dual/Single-Port USB Type-C® PD

Infineon Technologies EZ-PD™ CCG8 Dual/Single-Port USB Type-C^® PD complies with the current USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) specifications. CCG8 provides a complete USB Type-C and USB PD port control solution for PCs and notebooks. It includes a discrete N-channel field-effect transistor (NFET) gate driver with fault protection and slew-rate control. It also contains a 32-bit, 48MHz Arm^® Cortex^®-M0+ processor integrating a complete Type-C transceiver, including the Type-C termination resistors Rp, Rd, and dead-battery Rd termination. The Infineon Technologies CCG8S (single-port) is available in a 48-pin QFN package, while the CCG8D (dual-port) is available in a 97-BGA package. Both CCG8S and CCG8D support Extended Power Range (EPR) up to 28V without external components.
