Vishay Semiconductors Vishay Low-Profile SMT Avalanche Rectifiers

Vishay Semiconductors Low-Profile, Surface-Mount Avalanche Rectifiers feature 20 mJ EAS avalanche capability. These new surface-mount avalanche rectifiers include the AS1Px standard, AR1Px fast, and AU1Px ultrafast devices in SMP packages with a low profile of 1.0 mm. The AS3Px and AS4Px standard, AR3Px and AR4Px fast, and AU2Px and AU3Px ultrafast rectifiers have a profile of 1.1 mm in SMPC a package. The miniature packages save space in consumer, lighting, and automotive applications. Providing high current density, the rectifiers combine their compact packages with high average forward currents.

eSMP® SMP Fast Recovery Rectifiers

Vishay eSMP® SMP Fast Recovery Rectifiers are general-purpose devices ideal for use in secondary rectification and freewheeling in both consumer and automotive applications. The rectifiers offer low forward voltage, low power loss, and low thermal resistance. The Fred Pt® devices offer increased power density by providing high current ratings typically reserved for the SMA (DO-214AC) package. These include a low forward voltage drop that reduces power losses and improves efficiency. This series is also ideal for automated placement, allowing for automated optical inspection (AOI) in automotive systems. These rectifiers are available in a surface-mounted DO-220AA package with a low 1.0mm profile (typical). Vishay eSMP SMP Fast Recovery Rectifiers are available in standard and AEC-Q101-qualified versions.

Vishay Semiconductors Diodes and Rectifiers in the enhanced surface-mount power (eSMP®) package deliver higher current handling and power efficiency with a unique design that promotes better thermal performance and reliability. These space-saving miniature devices feature low profiles and come in asymmetrical and symmetrical flat-type versions. Typical applications include automotive, industrial, and telecommunications.

Fast Recovery Avalanche Rectifiers

Vishay Fast Recovery Avalanche Rectifiers offer a low profile, low leakage current, and high forward surge capability. These avalanche sinter glass diodes are primarily used for conducting in one direction and blocking in the other. The fast recovery avalanche rectifiers are glass passivated pellet chip junction constructed. These rectifiers feature controlled avalanche characteristics and fast reverse recovery time. The RoHS compliant rectifiers are AEC-Q101 qualified and meet UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Vishay Fast Recovery Avalanche Rectifiers are applicable for use in high-frequency rectification of power supply, inverters, converters, and freewheeling diodes for consumer, automotive, and telecommunication.
