C4A Radial Film Caps for High-Power Applications

KEMET C4A Radial Film Capacitors for High-Power Applications offer low ESR, resulting in a much higher ripple current rating without sacrificing capacitance. These products come in two styles: a polypropylene metallized film capacitor, a polypropylene metallized film, and a polyester double-metalized foil capacitor. Both versions have a rectangular, plastic box-type design, filled with resin, and use 2 or 4 tinned wires. KEMET C4A Radial Film Capacitors with high voltage ratings are ideal for DC-Link and high-power applications. Capacitors with a combination of low ESR, efficient CV, and high voltage rating are useful for energy storage and EMI filtering.

C4AT MKP Power Film Capacitors

KEMET C4AT MKP Power Film Capacitors for switching applications offer self-healing, high ripple current, high contact reliability, and low losses. The C4AT MKP Power Film Capacitors from KEMET are suitable for high-frequency applications such as DC ripple filtering, decoupling, and harmonic filtering where long life is needed and the ripple currents are too high for ordinary film capacitors.
